Thank you very much for all your support on the outreach to the Middle East. The ability to pray and minister to many new and seasoned believers was made possible through your support. My favorite part was ministering to the children through crafts, and teaching Sunday school for 2-6 year olds.
Also, our team cleaned and painted a local playground and made weekly home visits to Gypsy and Kurdish families.
Since returning home, I have been led to return to the mission field in Beijing, China for 5 weeks this summer with my alma mater, Dallas Baptist University.
The plans are to teach a group of 15 kinder level students and invite you to partner with me through prayer and support as I embark on this journey to encourage others in the Good News. In preparation for this assignment of teaching English as a Second Language, curriculum and incentives are needed for the children to excel.

Friends, Guess what? I am headed to Turkey at the end of September. I received several confirmations about this place before I found out I was chosen for this team. I am soo very excited about reaching out to this nation that has soo much history and culture. Please keep me in prayer for excellent health and that our team of nine will have protection, direction and unity. We will go into Muslim Orthodox areas that are not familiar with the power of the Holy Spirit. We hope to baptize them with the truth of His Love and Power! I can’t wait!
The Lord has been showing me gifts that I had not used very much before such as prophesy. I hope to operate in healing as well. More importantly I am discovering the Fathers heart of LOVE for me. He is pursuing me in such a radical way and I am also going after Him like never before, He’s breaking my heart for what breaks His. I am been weeping a lot in utter awe and gratitude for his Fathers heart towards me.
We also do local outreach on Tuesdays to the local Hawaiians and its amazing that He gives us pictures of those we are to minister to We pray for the lost and see them set free…. Until next time God Bless You Amigos Lindos!
Friends and Sponsors,
Thank you first of all for supporting me to go to the nations. Today we had an opportunity to pick our top two nations we desire to outreach to and I decided on India as my number one pick and Turkey as number two. I have always wanted to go to India, but the Lord really impressed Turkey upon my heart too. It would have been practical to pick China or Cambodia, but God is directing me to get out of the practical and comfortable this season. I am soo blessed to be here surrounded by so many like minded Christians.
Until Tomorrow, Mahalo,

My name is Diane Gorena, a reading intervention teacher at Edinburg C.I.S.D., a recent graduate of the University of Texas Pan American’s Masters of Public Administration, Christ for the Nations Institute alumni and Dallas Baptist University Cum Laude. My journey with Christ began in 1998 and Abundant Grace Community Church has been a big part of the process. Through Abundant Grace’s recognition I was ordained January 2012. After serving Christ on the mission field in China from 2006-2008, it is now time to return. The calling on my life is to assist the poor, widowed, orphaned and to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”, Matthew 28:16-20.
My plans are to attend the University of the Nations a Youth with a Mission base in Kona, Hawaii. I will be preparing for the mission field through weekly classroom teachings, group intercessory prayer, worship and discipleship. After my preparation I will be sent out to various nations around the world.
I invite you to partner with me through prayer and support as I embark on this journey to tell others the Good News.
The cost of this program is estimated at @ $10,000 for one year and donations may be sent directly to the church or to my home.
